3261 House

Set in a spectacular setting in the South Salem hills, this 1960's house had an outdated kitchen and was starting to deteriorate. Additionally, much of the interior of the house was dark and cavernous. New skylights, lighting, and lighter colors were introduced selectively to create brighter areas without completely altering the architectural character of the house.

The remodeled kitchen was reconfigured to increase storage and work space, with careful attention paid to the particular functional desires of the client. Exterior decks were redesigned to minimize obstruction of views while providing pleasant outdoor gathering areas.
